Our interview experience My wife's GC application is approved today. As promised here is the detailed post. :) Our interview was scheduled at 130PM. We reached the USCIS building at 1245PM. Went through the double doors and security. The service representative asked me to go to the 3rd floor...

Let me get this right. Your employer paid the lawyer for your Family based immigration and gave a letter for I-864 purposes and you want to take a new job now that you have EAD? :)

Thanks Praetorian. Even we had RFE for Birth Certificate. We sent the reply the same day and case resumed processing on 5th June. We had 4 updates on 485 and 765 on 6th, 7th, 8th and 10th June. And the message did not change. Whatever they were doing, they must have done something right...

Sarvalokesh, Give me $1000. I will file it for you. Just kidding.:) Don't waste your money on lawyer. Unless your case is complicated, it is very easy to file the papers. But you have to read a lot. I suggest you start with one of the Sticky threads on the first page...
