I filed my own I-140 and screwed up. I checked the wrong box and "made" myself EB3 instead of EB2. It was just checking the wrong box but I discovered it after I sent if off. No receipt number yet. What the hell do I do now?
I got my LC today, after beleiving that I would never get it. The problem is this: when I applied for the LC I worked for a company that had a contract with the county. On June 30, 2006, the county gave the contract to a different company. I stayed on in the same job, same responsibilities...
I Need Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After almost 2 years my lawyer wrote me and told me my LC was approved. What should be good news is causing me a lot of grief. The problem is this: I work(ed) for an office that had a contract with the county to provide services. On June 30, 2006, the...
Jenny
I'm not saying that it is a good thing or bad thing that she is my certifying officer. Just curious about whether certain officers are faster than others OR whether or not it is irelevant.
Name of Analyst
One thing I haven't notice is people keeping track of the certifying officer that signed the 45 day letter. I wonder if it matters? Some people get LC within weeks of returning the letter and others takes years. I just got my 45 day letter (PD 9-20-04). MY CO is Jenny Elser...
OMFG 45 day letter
After almost 2 years I FINALLY got my 45 day letter. Just as my current employer is losing the contract. Please update the tracker. The letter is dated june 17, 2006 and I got it on June 22, 2006. Time to drink!
What have I missed?
We were promised a 45 day letter by June 30. I still don't have one, nor do many others I think. Yet no one seems to be talking about it. What have I missed? Did this promise get rescinded and I missed it? Why is it that people are not up in arms about this?
Well I'm screwed..now what?
I have a PD of 9-20-04. Unfortunately our firm is losing our contract and I will no longer be employed here as of August. My new employer (the state of Alaska) has a policy of NOT sponsoring for a Gren Card. So after 2 years (I know people have been waiting...
Where is the basis for optimism?
I just can't see where all this hope comes from. I have been waiting 19 months for a 45 day letter. When you look at the latest DOL report it seems that they are years from getting to us. Maybe the rush of the 45 day letter got to you.
9-04 PD
CA EB-2...
I'll try again
I've tried asking this a few times but with no luck. I'll try again. Since I have NEVER recieved a 45 day letter (EB-2, CA, RIR, PD 9-20-04), what does that mean in terms of time. Has anyone got LC WITHOUT the 45 day letter. I really want to change jobs and move out of state...
Do I have this right?
I am an EB2 RIR CA with a PD of 9-20-04. ALL I have ever got is the original letter saying they got my application. I have not got a 45 day letter or anything else. Since DBEC is now processing early 2004, does that mean that I am about 6 months away from LC? Or does...
About 2 years?
It seems to me that, on average, it takes about 2 years to get labor certified. Just looking at the dates it seems like early 2004 is now getting certified. I know there are people waiting longer, but does that seem right? I have a PD of 9-20-04. Is it unrealistic to expect...
No more 45 day letters?
My lawyer emailed me the other day and said two things of importance: FIRST there will be no more 45 day letters as of now. Second, the BEC's have a mandate to have a decision on EVERY case by the end of the year. She said that they WILL do it. My lawyer is with Carl...
Unusual question..anyone know?
My case is currently sitting in Dallas (I think) and has been for 14 months with no word. I hate my job and where I live and I want to move to Alaska. Does anyone have any idea if I will have to go thru the BEC crap if I am in Alaska? It seems like I could...

How to tell?
How do you guys know about dates and where your case went etc? The only thing I got was a letter dated 9/24/04 from the Employment Development department in CA. It gave a case number and a priority date of 9/20/04. It is an RIR case. 13 months later that is all I know. No 45...
