    Cancelling Canadian PR

    I recently got my GC and I also have a Canadian PR, but I still havent landed there. I've heard you can only keep one at a time. So do I have to send a letter to the Canadian govt to cancel my PR. Can this be done? Also if I cancel the Canadian PR will I have a problem travelling to Canada...

    Hey thanks for the quick response. But my passport hasnt been stampped for the Permanent Resdience, I wasnt called for an interview either? So did they waive my interview and will I be able to get my passport stamped after I get the card? Thanks Again

    On September 28, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready. I just checked my cast status for my I-485 and I got this as a response. So, did they mail me a green card or a new EAD card, but I already have an EAD...
