    I saw LUDs for my wife and I's 485 and 765s after a long time. LUD was on 5/8/08. Not sure if this is related to the renewal 765 filed. I believe it is related to the green card processing. Hope to hear something soon since PD is current. Let me know if you are in a similar boat...

    When can we use EAD - 6 months after what? When can we use EAD - 6 months after what? ND, RD, FP or what? This is in terms of changing employers. Thanks.

    I called the main toll free line for USCIS. Name check usually takes a minimum of 4 to 6 months from ND if you are blessed. Otherwise, it could take forever. We are no supposed to call them and they are not obligated to respond to questions regarding NC. However, i just gave it a try.

    That can be very difficult but you can only find out from an IO if they are willing to tell you.

    Name Check Cleared but no Visa number yet I spoke with an IO today at the TSC. She informed me that the name checks have cleared but there are no visa numbers at the moment.

    Go to your bank and tell them to increase the validity period of the check in their system. Tell them to change it to 9 months. This is only a suggestion. Try it out to see if the bank can fix it. Good luck.

    She should apply for the SSN. It usually takes about two weeks. She can start working if the employer agrees but she will not be paid until she has the SSN
