this confusion costed me $300 and bunch of nerves I only brought certified translations to the interview, and was asked for the originals. Had to UPS them from U.S. to Poland in one day. I think they should state "Original Birth Certificate and Certified Translation" instead.

Just went for the interview in Warsaw, and came back to U.S. over the weekend. Flew through New York, and was very dissappointment with the immigration control there. The guy was totally unproffesional, even rude, so I didn't have a chance to ask anything (was happy to get out of that room)...

it's no problem have employment I-485 pending for six months, and departing for the next week's DV interview in Warsaw. Anywhere I read, it's pretty clear that you can go after DV in parallel to other pending apps. Let's see if this 11-year journey ends soon.

Got the response today (both cases pending a name check). Sent an e-mail inquery a week ago. It's nice for CSC to respond this way.

Curious whether I have to get one from Canada. I've been in Canada for exactly 6 months (to a day). Also, do we need a police clearance from U.S., while applying for CP? In general, what the second package says about police clearances (which countries, from what ages, etc.)? Thanks.

I had my biometrics done back in May. How can I find out whether the name check was cleared, or is it still pending? Is there an e-mail to contact FBI with this enquery? Or, is it going with a senator the only option? I guess, contacting the National Help Line won't provide any answers...

CSC got my package on 03/20, but the attorney received reciept notices only on 04/26, with ND of 03/24 for all forms. We were about to start tracing check clearings, and following up on the issue, but they finally came in.

I'm curious about medicals for CP myself. I just did medicals for employment I-485, and I wondering if I can reuse it (ask doctor to fill up another form with duplicate information). Though, a Consulate might want to have current medicals instead of a half year old one. Does anyone know how...
