Labor Approved
Guys, this is a good day . Just got an email from my lawyer that my labor has been approved. Someone please let the guys who maintain the tracker about this.
For over three years I looged into this site everyday. You guys are the best !!!
Congratulations to CAPDJUL2002
365 days should be pending
to get xtension based on labor , that labor should have been filed more than 365 days ago. But if you can file 140 and get it approved before your 6th year completes. you can file for 3 yr extension based on approved 140.
To Perm or not to Perm
Its not that Perm is a bad idea always, but the switch to Perm is laced with landmines. you have to be careful.
The most obvious questions are :
* Are you from non - retro country ? Yes ? then go for PERM.
* Are you from retro country, expecting ( not dreaming...
MD/VA is always first box to open !?
Someone commented that they always start with VA or MD. Looks like this is the case.
Guys, dont just get excited by PD of the approved case. Read the state too.
May-NY is not the same as May-VA.
May-VA may happen way before May-NY. Its all about the...
I agree
I agree... and right now this forum is not looking that far ahead. Maybe rightly so as fixing retrogression is still somewhere on the political agenda. Maybe something will change in some time. Nevertheless, it will be limited to a small push rather than all dates becoming current...
No Harm in trying
PBEC no longer provides status in those 7 yr extension screen shots.
Also, I tried GMAIL and never got a reply. I have had a reply in the past with the work ID.
But you can try.. no one knows PBEC that well.
it was a rumour ...grrr
AILA has released information that the S. 1932 which the House passed early this morning did not include visa recapture and H-1B.
Need media planning
Guys,
remember one thing. Once we step into media zone ,we need to be planned and calculated. its a PR excercise as well. our headlines need to be catchy and make people sit up and pay attention.
We just cant write a long essay on PBEC/DBEC , RIR/TR , retrogression and...
Refiling under PERM
I just saw an article on www.murthy.com on this.
Main points are :
1. This is more or less a grey area where no clear rules have been laid out. There have been cases where original priority dates are maintained. You should proceed with a lot of caution and an...
You are right, but ....
Mockery,
You have repeated this sentiment many times before and I do agree that visa retrgression and/or unavailability is not our immidiate concern. PBEC backlog is.
But here is the thing. We know visa retrogression is a problem. We are doing what we can for PBEC...
Email responses
I think , if you mail from gmail , hotmail etc they ignore your request. pnly if you mail through work, they respond. Thats my observation. HAs anyone had simillar experience ?
1/3 data still not entered
I called my lawyer to get some info if any and he said that about 1/3 of the data is not yet completely entered in the system. This should also be the approximate percentage of people who have not recieved a 45 day letter.
Aprlc2002 , any updates at your end ...
