You don't have to leave the country, you will be fine... Hi Justdoit.... You can ask your employer/attorney to file your 8th year extension (btw you can file it before 6 months of your H1b expiration); once it is filed and even if it is passed Mar 2006...you will be fine...and you will...

Anybody filed around Apr, 2002 or around from NY got LC approval ? Even in my case, i haven't received any 45 day letter..I emailed PBEC 7th year thing and got T# case :Incomplete, RIR, NY, PD : 04/1/2002. Any body around this period got approval.... :eek: Cheers !!!!

whattheheck, i called the number you mentioned above and when i asked about Rosalyn, the lady said that she is not at her desk at the moment..Would you like to go to the status phoneline where they had the stupid automated message...Did you find your status from Rosalyn and who did you got this...

God Bless us all who are in this weird situation. I pray to the Almighty everyday to take us out from this weird situation and approve all the LCs; we have done everything right, are on right track... waiting for LC for 3 or more years now.....It is affecting our lives, decisions...I do believe...

luckylucky, Thats correct, our Company's Attorney mentioned the 45-days letters not the approval letters; haven't received any approval letter so far from NY/NJ with them
