You and I are in exact same situation. Are u sure retrogression would affect dependent's application when primary is approved? Where can we confirm this?

I have never seen any thing which says u can not chane job for 6 months. I have seen my friends quit right after 485 approval and before getting card in hand. So not sure this is a issue at all. Don't no #2. Just save the I94 and return if asked in future - my thoughts only

Where exactly did you get that one has to continue to work for current employer for 6 months? Why can't someone quit the day GC is in hand. I have seen many who quit right after 485 approval date and before receiving card in hand.
