Question on signing the naturalization certificate

Yeah the wording is a little confusing, USCIS doesn't want the excitement to end even after you get the certificate  , IMHO I think you should just sign your full name on the certificate in cursive and forget about it. Good Luck! v_m

    Passport timeline

That is a little abnormal. I applied on 11/29/05 in Chicago for normal processing and received it on 12/21/05. I guess it depends on the backlog at the various processing centers. I am glad that you at least know that they are processing it. Did you check the online status? Mine got updated only...

Info regarding signing the naturalization certificate.

abs49080, I was told the same thing by the officer ie. to legibly print my name on the picture. If I understand correctly, you printed your name on the photos, and then signed in cursive your full name on your certificate and that worked fine for the passport, right? I just want to make sure...

Need 2nd opinion on answering 'Good Moral Character' questions in N400

I had two traffic tickets that I listed on my application and I answered the questions just like you did. Yes to #16 and NO to 15,17 and 18. The interviewing officer didn't seem to care about the traffic violations. He just asked me if I have ever appeared before a judge for any criminal activity.
