    Jackolantern, You are right. After I-140 gets approved, the company can still revoke my I-140 case. But, here is the discussion basically saying that REF will NOT be sent out till I485 is adjucated. In my case, it could be several years later. What is your opinion on this...

    I have been hearing lots of checks. When we apply for I-485, there is name check. When we apply for visa, such as H1-B, before coming to US, we might go through the background check. Are these two checks essentially the same? Thank you.

    Interim EAD(OPT) and H1B

    I just got an interim EAD after OPT application passed 90 days. Can I file H1- B with interim EAD? But I heard that H1-B will not be approved if OPT is pending. Is this true? Thanks.
