Do you need to show an intent to register as an engineer with the applicable state licensing board? I would have B.ENg. and P.Eng. (APENS). I don't think so but if it adds to my case during the somewhat subjective border evaluation then I will do it. Anyone have experience with this? thanks

Just to make it clear - there is a preclearance facility at the airport that I will be using. Plan is: 1. do preclearance, 2. get TD and TN-1 VISA, 3. split up and go to different flights.
