Another related question, for anyone that knows... the I-797, Notice of Action I received (in March 27, 2015) says that my conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year. Is this one year from the receipt date or one year from when my GC expired (in June 2015)?

That is 'more or less' the time it took for my appointment too -for the immigration office in San Diego. I got my EAD/AP card a few days after the notice for the I-485 interview. Good luck and hopefully you'll have your GC a few days after your interview! :)

Thanks, Jackolantern. I had misplaced the notice and the documentation I had read didn't say anything about it but I just found the notice and read it and not only does it say my spouse has to go but it also states everything else I need to bring to the interview so I should be good to go.
