re:
hmd. i am doing that but it will take 2-3 months from CA i am assuming.
i am just thinking that what if i get a good offer prior to that time frame .i am 100% sure that my job title is software enginner/computer programme ... so programmer analyst etc will work ....
i was just curious...
re:
Thanks hmd. Nice to know that I was thinking correctly. This leads to me another question though
1. All people who say that they have got the same job desc with their new employer could u pls come forward and tell us whether u got this job desc
from ETA 750A or the latest work exp...
re:
hmd.
i dont have my labor copy and it might be 1-2 mths before i get details back from FOIA.
i am preety sure that my job title is software programmer ...
i am getting/might get a job as programmer analyst .. Now in the job desc ... i dont know what was written on my labor .. frankly...
All people who used AC21 and who submitted an EVL later to get approved, how did u manage to put in the same job /desc. I am looking for a job but every company has its job title/desc which though is similar to what i am doing but not exact. I have read forums where people have said that they...
re:
could u please let me know whether u joined in exactly the same job title / job desc when using ac21. if yes .. how do u do that .. i mean how do u tell a company that this is going to be my title and this is going to be my desc.
re:
I dont think copying/pasting job desc will be possible. I mean i dont know how potential emplouers will take that .The letter has to be signed by them when i repsond to a RFE .
I dont have ETA 750A form which means i need to file FOIA. Should i wait more 20 days to file that because thats...
I am eligible to change jobs using AC21 but have a few questions.
1. When I take a new job do i need to make sure that its a 100% match. My lawyer said NO but here is what i mean. I dont know my labor job desc but from ET1 750B .its very general meaning programming ,client support and IT etc...
Guys . I am thinking abt changing jobs and need the following info.
1. When I apply for a job , I am going to say that I have EAD .should i tell them that i am using AC21 etc. i mean will it confuse the employer because he might be looking for someone with no sponsorship issues.
2. I talked to...
re:
smv:
1. did u join on H1 or EAD?
2. also can u please share ur FOIA success. I mean it would be great if u could guide how to fill the form.
Thx

re:
waitinginhell
this is what i meant to ask.
i have a H1B approval that is valid for another 2 years and i am working on that h1 approval. however i dont have a h1b visa in my passport. now i am not using my ead .my question is that if i use AP to travel does it autmoatically force me to...
re:
wth.
to add to the question .. if the person is working on an H1B while his I140 is approved and I485 is pending and also has an EAD, will he by travelling on AP come automatically on EAD status and in the process invalidate his H1B.
re:
hmd .
can u please tell me one thing. when u did interview .. did u tell them that u were using ac21 etc or did u just say that i have ead and need no sponsor ship. also how did u get similar job desc as was in ur labor. i mean did u tell ur employer abt this ac21 thing or u just took the...
re:
actually i am trying to see if people have used EAD to use AC21 and in the process gave up their H1B. from ur response it seems like it is fine to do this.
If your 140 was approved and days on 485 > 180 plus u had a active H1 say for next 2 years
Then
did u change ur job and come on EAD .i mean did u let ur H1 invalidate .i would like to know whether people have done this. i see many people who have been advocating to keep H1B but honestly if u...
re
mine is a labor sub . case and priority date on my 140 is the original labor filing date. so is it correct that for all labor sub cases ,priority date is the original labor date and not 140 filing date.
