Yes, you file for EAD renewal. You file your EAD whereever you 485 is pending. If its still at the old center, then your EAD should be sent to the old center. If your 485 has been transfered to the new center then you will not have a problem filing your EAD at the new center.

Did you check get cashed? If yes, you should call customer service and see if they can get your Receipt number from A#. I efile so have never paid with a check but apparently I have read in this forum that your cashed check should have a Receipt number at the back. Goodluck and keep us posted...

They should be able to access your case based on your A#. But you can just double check by calling customer service and finding out it you need to send the 485 pending receipt.

No, there will be no LUD change for your EAD if the FP were related to your 485. Check casese ahead of your and after you to figure out how they are processing. I think it would be faster to get a renewal than a first EAD.
