    TSC Consolidated 485 Tracker

I did some quick back of the envelope calculations. Around Y2K the annual H1-B quota was around 200,000. That's 200,000 families. The annual EB-2 and EB-3 per-country quota is around 3000 each. Include dependents, and that translates to roughly 1500 families per year. Factor in labor...

    Consolidated NSC I-485 Tracker

If your visa date is unavailable, having NC cleared will not give you any benefits. You cannot file WoM because USCIS will get it dismissed very easily.

This is interesting. Can you ask his cousin, approx how many such requests he gets per month? What information is provided in such a request? What happens if the person no longer lives in the house. Or the cop encounters a surly neighbor who's mad at you because you trampled on his flower beds...

In a contorted way this might be good - it'll give some time for old NCs to clear, while holding off visa number consumption for next few months. Of course if your NC is going to take 3 years, the VB is useless.

Nobody knows. There's no rhyme no reason. It's complete insanity - compaunded by lack of accountability. That's why it's important to lobby to make the process more transparent. I think American Families United is doing a good job. I will be supporting them.

What is so frustrating is that citizenship based namechecks, with some exceptions, get cleared so fast. Why? Maybe because they have a stronger legal position? Here's a random example: user "trishuls" citizenship timeline: 02/03/2007 : Mailed to CSC 02/06/2007 : Priority Date (and Receive Date)...
