Somebody broke into my car in year 2004. I reported to Police But tough to believe these kind of records get one into namecheck blackhole. Then FBI should really be dumb !

Those on this forum are mostly from India,China.I believe And one can see that many are stuck. Is it because both have billion/billion+ population and for almost everybody the FBI gets multitude of name hits ? Does FBI publish per country namecheck blackhole info ? I was wondering what is...

July '06 - waiting. Don't know whether it is namecheck or not ( most probably it is ). Initiated enquiry back in Feb.'07. haven't got a reply so far.

I don't think congress people / FL / Pres. will expedite namecheck There are well defined conditions for which namecheck is expedited. Otherwise i don't think resources will be used to cut in front of others waiting for the namecheck clearance.

USCIS received it on April 12, 2007. .

Spouse AP approved within 2 weeks The first AP ( in year 2006 ) also got approved within 2 weeks. My second AP is still pending ( as well as EAD ).

You should have asked differently ? For eg. "Has USCIS got response from FBI regarding security check ?"

Some of my friends stayed with Indian body shop companies for 6 - 7 years to get GC. After they got GC they jumped ship ( after 6 months ) and got better salaries ( for eg. the guy who was getting $85K per annum upgraded to $120 K per annum ). Aaah , the beauties of GC. Slurp....

I have written a letter to USCIS Ombudsman to get the USCIS put more info into their online status system.

Why can't they notify us ? I have registered online. Why can't send me an email ( with the reason ) if the application is past the processing time ? That would have eliminated unnecessary status queries ( and they don't reply to queries in time !).
