Congrats ! I am a 2002 PD guy with 2006 I-485 RD :-) stuck in name check. Atleast you didn't need to go through another black hole called "NAME CHECK" . Is your name rare ?

WOM for complicated cases ? Got one doubt. So, the name check usually gets cleared in weeks once USCIS sends expedited request to FBI. But if the FBI is at a stage where it has to get replies from foreign govts. , will the expedited request help ?

What a crappy situation I mean - After PBEC , now it is namecheck.

Another one here Wrote to FL in July 2007 and got reply from FBI this month "in process" . I mean it might be just sitting in their shelf .

I wrote to FL and FBI replied that it is in process. Nothing happened afterwards.

Anybody who wrote recently to FL got their NC cleared ? By recent i mean, starting from July 2007 .

Funny enough the FBI addressed me Dr. <First Name> <MiddleName> <LastName> I am not a doctor . Nor a PhD. May be they mistook for a doc. who had done something bad ?!

How long can one stay outside and re-enter while AOS is pending ? Will a 50 day vacation create any problem ? What is the max. people in this forum stayed out and then re-entered without any grilling at POE ?

Anybody recently got letters from FBI in response to letter to FL ? Almost 2.5 months since i wrote letter to FL. No reply. May be the volume is high and even that door is shut.
