Its hard to answer. There is no yardstick to measure the process by doing it early or doing it on time. Everyone has a different timeline and so many factors are at play. I would assume that it does speed up the process some but then again I am just guessing. I have always done the bio appts on...

Mine wasnt that much of a breeze... had to drive quite a ways. Since it was far I didnt want to take a chance on early walkins and then spend all that time for nothing.

Got the biometrics done on 8/13. Our appt was set for 9am but we got there at 8:15am. Not many people there. We got done within 20 mins in and out. Now onto the next step.....

Well youre not alone. The NOA letter was missing a letter from my wife's last name.... I was not happy but the BIO letter came and it was correct. The A# is both correct on both letters. So I dont know what happened here... I double checked the forms I sent to make sure I wasnt the weakest link...

Good luck on that. We started that journey two years ago. The reason there are two addresses is because FedEx and UPS wont deliver to a PO Box. If you want to send FedEx or UPS the second address is good. We went with that as I think their tracking ability is much better than the USPS's personally.

Going good. Had a hiccup sending in the form and wasted two weeks on it but now back on track. Got the NOA letter so feeling a lot better. Next up is biometrics for us.

Looks like this one varies as there are two centers. I have seen from a few months to a years time. So its all a dice game right now. I did the package for my wife and now the game begins.....
