I'm an extremely pessimist person. Instead of Interview Letter, I ended up receiving a yellow letter. So I'm guessing my interview hasn't been scheduled, yet. It asked me to bring my previous passports/traveldocuments and Driver License.

My father (who applied a week later than I did) received a text and email saying he has been placed in line for the interview, too.

My issues pertain to 3-month residency in California. Technically, I'd lived for over 3 months prior to my application, but there was an error on my part while changing address in USPS and only noticed and corrected it after I'd submitted my application. As such, I wonder if USCIS will think...

Mine changed to "placed in line", too. But I've been told that San Francisco's line is pretty big. So it might be a while before I hear from them.

If you genuinely believe that you have info pertaining to imminent threat to the US, you should contact NSA, FBI, and other security agencies ASAP instead of seeking opinion on a forum. You could potentially save a ton of lives, and who knows, maybe rewarded for your information, too.

vandeluca, don't they ask you question when you're about to leave that country? I know of this Indian co-worker who traveled to Nepal recently. She holds both Indian and US passports but when she tried to enter back from Nepal, she got grilled because she used her Indian passport to enter Nepal...

That's exactly my point, newacct. Sure, OP can enter Brazil visa free by using his/her Venezualan passport but when s/he tries to return back to the states, won't they ask for visa (for Brazil) when s/he presents American passport?

Unless you also hold passports of countries associated with terrorism (Syrica, N. Korea, Iran for eg), this shouldn't even be a question. But that said, say you landed in Venezuela with your Venezuelan passport and on your way back, tried showing your American passport, wouldn't they grill you...

Stinger, actually that's not the case at all. It appears that there's a serious backlog and very few people have received their yellow/Interview letters within a month. That said, I hope we get ours within a month :D
