Yes both you and your mother can each submit an entry and in the process she can (and should) name you as a derivative. That means if she wins you both get to go, provided you successfully go through the process. On the other hand If you are selected only you are eligible to get a green card and...
Hey LulKosova,
First off thank you :) We got our passports this Tuesday with the visas in them. A happy moment indeed as I'm sure you'll get to feel for yourself.
Our experience was generally ordinary I guess. We were scheduled for 8 am on the 27-th of august. We got there round 15 minutes...
HAPPY DAY! Today me and my wife got our visas approved, they'll be in our passports by Tuesday. YAY! :D :D :D
We both are thrilled and very grateful to all of you and this wonderfully supportive community. It was a roller coaster ride but we got there in the end. Good luck to anyone still going...
Not that's it too useful at this point but still :)

My status is ready too btw :)

What i meant was that Europe has no Nepal or Iran or Venezuela cases which can make the progress of the VB more unpredictable as is apparently the case with some of them. From what i gather Europe has just the regional quota to reach which makes things more or less predictable within a certain...
Well if your interview is in Europe it's a tad easier to predict when or if you'll go current with your CN since it's not as complicated as the other regions, at least as far as this year is concerned.
I understood what you meant, the coming soon sign, I was referring to it as well when I said a visa bulletin was announced. Again don't worry about it. Out of curiosity where are you from?
That's not true, it was rarely that an upcoming visa bulletin was announced on the 1st and I personally can't even think of one such case. You just got the pre visa bulletin jitters :) don't worry about it, they probably have their hands full calculating the right numbers for the next bulletin...
