The best safe option is to "first file for Re-Entry permit (this will be for the second time), wait for finger printing and then parent should go to country of citizenship ".

I remembered, when I passed the interview, the immigration told me to stay out of any trouble. I didnt even wanna go out or drive long distance......lol
When it come to immigration, when in doubt, please talk to a lawyer.
If you have the means, please ask a lawyer to be with you at the interview, to be on the safe side.
When the interview start, you ll have an opportunity to make some changes. Dont worry about it.
