your social security number its gonna be the same regardless of your status , its your number for life .
i assume the EAD you received is the C8 for pending asylum , if thats true then you dont need to get another SSN card .

i have applied for asylum in oct 2012 , and did the fingerprint but not interview notice yet
if i applied for work permit after the 180 days has passed and immediately moved to another state that's under another asylum office jurisdiction, can i still be able to receive the work...
i was looking into that because i might move , what i found out on the USCIS website is changing asylum office might stop the clock , so if the state you are moving to is under another asylum office that might stop the clock, just don't risk it if u have such a plan .
that's a long wait for a work permit, from reading other posts it should take 3 weeks to 3 months...
when do they start counting the 180 days? from the day the application was sent ? or the day the asylum office receive it > because in my case there is 16 days difference between the 2 events
i applied in mid oct l, 2013 and i am still waiting. i live in Minnesota and my asylum office is the Chicago one .
i don't think moving would help , all asylum offices have thousands of pending cases right now just stay where you are and wait

i found out that changing the address in the same city or to another area under the same asylum office wont stop the clock but moving to another venue might stop it

i applied for asylum in oct 2013 and i am moving in a month to another place in the same city . would changing the address stop the 180 days EAD clock ? what about moving to another state thats covered under another asylum office?
it is not required but since you have now knowledge of the asylum process its high recommended that you get a help of a lawyer ,

life being difficult or fear from Muslims is not enough , you have to have a strong case this wont do it . you have to prove that you re personally targeted because of your religion . and that the government can not protect you and there is no place in your country you can relocate to . also...

today i received the receipt notice from Chicago Asylum office dated 11/13 . 16 days after the application was received by the processing center
well, in the asylum form you will be asked all the addresses you have lived in , and expect any question during the the asylum interview .
i advise you not to lie and find a good lawyer
