You can simply ask the person in your household who has his name in the lease write a letter stating that you are sharing the apartment and utilities with you and get it attested. Or get a drivers license/state ID with that address.

I think its quite simple. If you are a US citizen, you fill FORM 1040, If you are F1, pending asylum or anything which is non resident, then its FORM 1040NR which says U.S. Nonresident Alien Income Tax Return.

Yes, they don't want to sponsor H1. But the issue with them is that they think they need to sponsor EAD too. But, some people know that with EAD, you don't need sponsorship and they simply hire you.

From what I heard, once your case is denied, they consider you as a fraud and no intent to return back to your country. When you apply and get any visa, your intent should be going back to your country once your visit for any reason is over.
