Hi You could use AVR. U will not handover your I94 if you are going to canada for less than 30 days....I recently used AVR in October.So it works fine & doesnt affect your green card if you are going to canada to get canadian PR. Just take the prints of AVR rule to be on safe side...I did have...

In your case, you dont need to use AVR...since u still have an unexpired Visa stamp, you will have no problem...just make sure to keep your Valid I-797 with yourself..I have done it a few times..

Thanks Ginnu..thats wht i Plan to do..However I was talking to my new employer & their Lawyer said that for AC21 they would use the responsibilities in EB3 labor ie..on which I-485 is originially filed...Logically I think that Once i convert my case to EB2....job responsibilities of EB2 Labor...
