VSC vs CSC vs TSC vs CP (VSC made me depressed)

No Title The best situation is when PD becomes current just before the case is taken up for adjudication. So, by the time it reaches the adjudication officer, it is already current and an IV can be issued right away after approval. I saw one such case (user id vrush). Her PD was some time in...

VSC vs CSC vs TSC vs CP (VSC made me depressed)

No Title Ninja. my guess is VSC will continue to process cases, whether PD is current or not. However, they will approve cases only if PD is current (or in your case, will send you FP only if PD is current). Once the case is proessed, it will be put to sleep and will probably need a wake up...

VSC vs CSC vs TSC vs CP (VSC made me depressed)

No Title Hi klm, To convert from AoS to CP, one needs to file I824, which causes a file transfer of your existing I140 to National Visa Center (NVC) in New Hampshire and then your file is transferred to the consulate. There are some forms (pasket3 or packet4) that one needs to fill and take...

VSC vs CSC vs TSC vs CP (VSC made me depressed)

No Title The fastest option is Consular Processing, where you are almost guaranteed of processing time of 6 months. If you are not expecting a decision in the next 6months, it is best to proceed thru CP. VSC has been processing aug99 cases for about 4months now. It had started sep99 cases...

VSC processing OCT 99 ND is TRUE

No Title jaibharat any comments on this one? I just checked with a friend who got an approval recently (nd: aug99) and he said the phone message just says \'this case has been approved\' and doesn\'t mention 485 or whatever type. So, there you have it ...

VSC processing OCT 99 ND is TRUE

No Title You might be telling the truth; I\'vent denied that. When some people are obviously posting fake messages, it is difficult to take anyone at face value. If what you say is indeed true, I\'m sure a lot of people here on this message board will be grateful to you. So, here\'s my...

VSC processing OCT 99 ND is TRUE

No Title In that case, can you post all except the last digit? that way you won\'t give away the entire EAC# and our search will be more accurate?

    Good News I-485 Approved

No Title Your EAC# doesn\'t make sense. If your ND is Oct\'99, your EAC# should begin with 00. Also, the 6th digit has to be 5. Also, there weren\'t 283 working days in 99. Your EAC# is grossly incorrect! ;-)

OCTOBER 1999 ND CLUB With Finger Print Done Only

No Title Chutney. there is no special significance to the \'5\'. it is just a digit used to identify the numbering system. In fact, almost all the cases filed at service centers will have a 5 (including H1B petitions). Also, the number of days part identifies the number of working days where...

Finger Prints -> LUCKY ONES & UNLUCKY ONES

No Title I think it is highly unlikely that VSC will transfer cases to local offices. If they wanted to transfer these cases for india/china, they would have done it the same time they started issuing FP notices for people from other countries (which was way back in sep). It\'s already more...

    I140 RFE Please help !

No Title Thanks for the answers. I think this RFE is triggerred because you probably don\'t have a degree from an american univ. If you filed your original I140 much earlier, they weren\'t too particular about this then, but now VSC has become very picky. You can try arguing with VSC about your...

    I140 RFE Please help !

No Title I think this is quite common these days; if you post in the I140 forum you\'ll definitely get some good pointers. But for the sake of this forum, could you please post some details here? 1. Did you file I140 in response to an RFE or in anticipation of one? 2. Didn\'t you...

Anyone got I-485 approval? (Amended I-140 cases)

No Title I think a lot of I140 redo\'s that were triggered by RFE\'s have been expeditiously approved by VSC so that their 485 can quickly approved. So, unless there are other issues with your 485, like expired FP or PD not current, I would expect your 485 approval sometime next week and...

    Intend to Deny!!!!!

No Title BTW, the person I was referring to has user id "BVS VSC" on this board. He is a very helpful guy, if you write to him, he can provide some more specific information. Ofcourse, every case is different, but his lawyer did recommend the right procedures.

    Intend to Deny!!!!!

No Title If your I485 has a different petitioner name than I140, then that could have triggered this intent to deny. However, I also know of one similar case (non-rapidigm) on this message board, who recently got approval without even an RFE. In his case, his lawyer had included a standard...
