We are so unlucky, INS made mistake and delayed our FP, the result is that our approval will be 6 months or more later than normal july filers.

When INS mail I-485 receipt, they send it to me, laywer, or both?

Here is the explain When VSC touch your case and find no FP was down, they will manully send FP request to the local INS office instead of using computer, but you case is still in the same position of the waiting queue, so may be some delay, but not a big delay. My RD is 07/17/2001, got FP on...

I have same experience I am primary applicant, my spouse got FP notice in Nov. 2001, but I got FP notice in Feb. 2002. You can do nothing but waiting.

My RD is 07/17/2001, just got FT notice in mail on 3/4/2002, scheduled on 3/26/2002, I am in NJ, so
