I think you should be fine. As it was said before, this is about you and not your wife. The IO will go over the N-400 with you and ask questions about your past and not your wife's. If you want, you could ask your lawyer how to best respond to a potential question about your wife's expired...
Doc, just a little update on my wife's case: they received our papers and have posted an online update message. Case is resumed. Hope you have the same kind of experience soon.
It's only when you get sick you feel the real benefit of being healthy.
All it takes for me to feel the benefit of being an American is to call my folks which live in the 3rd world country.
Good point. The only correction here could be the fact that you can request either "Copies of your tax return(s)" or "Transcripts". There is a difference. Copies are very expensive and takes forever to get. Transcripts are free and can be received very fast. I got mine in 5 days.
That's true. It's the same here. But certain category of residents can be exempted from that rule if they qualify. In Florida you can't do anything without a car. So, they have some exeptions. For example, you can apply for a DV if you are a F-1 student.
You can call your DMV and ask them...
In case you still need the Fed transcripts.
I got my transcripts very quickly by just calling the IRS number: (800) 829-1040. Follow the prompts. It's free.
I don't think you are that restricted. My wife is in the AOS process and she applied for a driver's licence. Here in FL they told us that you can do that as long as you bring them evidence of your status and your spouse will have to accompany you with the proof of US citizenship. It might be...

The income you are using to qualify is based...
Hey Doctor1,
My wife (a doctor too) is in the same boat as you are. This not so smart guys sent us an RFE to provide them with a proof of lawful admission in US. That is ridiculous. I wanted to include a copy of my wife's I-94, but the forms said no need to do that if it's not expired. The...
Before you decide to leave the country, you need to go to your school's DSO and he/she will do the necessary docummentation for you. The DSO will put a stamp in your I-20, which will alow you to come back with no issues.
My wife was an F-1 student and I did all the I-20 formalities for her...
Based on my experience, you should be fine. No need to get another visa. Just make sure you carry your I-20 with you when comming back. That's very important. Also, make sure your F-1 visa is a multi-entry and not a one time one.
I see that nobody have posted an answer to your question. I'll try to help you with some info on your issue.
First of all, you don't need a F-1 visa while in US. You'd need that if you go back to your country and then try to come back. What you need is to adjust your status to F-1. You can...
:)
