My wife's temporarily green card expires next month. We just mailed off the forms yesterday but totally forgot to put the check in. What should we do? Can we give USCIS a check? Can we go to the local office and give it? Do we just need to mail the form/papers again?
My wife needs to fill out an AR-11 form as we moved. Question we have about the date and port of entry is what date do we put? We did take a couple of weeks and went to Spain, so I am assuming that her date and port of entry would be when we got back form our vacation. But...would the data and...

Under the section:
CITIZENS AND PERMANENT RESIDENTS OF THE US
But now that I am rereading it doesn't actually need the stamp. She just has to prove she is a Perm. Resident of the US which the green card is one...
My wife was approved for her grenn card last month and we did receive the physical card a few weeks ago. But now she wants to take a trip with me next week for a few days to Canada. And from reading the Canadian website she doesn't need a temp. visa to visa Canada because she is a US Perm...
From what I can tell, USCIS will take anything when you send them but they also do liek things in certain order. Such as they would rather you NOT send pictures and such with the application. But they do like the applications and forms in a certain order when they receive them and even some on...
Actually doing some research it looks like it is possible to request a replacement I-94 through USCIS. But since it looks like her GC is approved it doesn't matter at this point.
So this evening I am chcecking the status of the I-485 and here is what it shows:
Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Card production ordered
So I am assuming this means her GC has been approved? If so, does...
Right, but my concern is not having this original document. It could pose a problem in the future. So that's why I am wondering if they normally take them. Maybe they do because when you are approved a GC you don't need it then? I don't know.
So after we had our initial interview and I am noticing that my wife’s I-94 form is missing. I am not sure if the lady we interviewed with took the card or not. I only noticed it missing because I was checking all of the forms we have and it is just one.
So anyone know if they are supposed to...
So actually I am noticing that her I-94 card is missing. Are they supposed to take it in the interview? The lady didn't say she was taking it but going through her papers it is not here. and when we left we just grabbed everything and put it into the folder we had but didn't notice it missing or...
I don't beleive she took the I-94.
But I did find out that on the same day, last Thursday, that my wife's work permit was approved, printed and mailed out. So maybe that is a good sign?
I know her alien number was actually listed on one of the receipt numbers that we already had. But the...
Hm...reading about it now at http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/denials/denials_1361.html
This is pretty dumb. Maybe something he said didn't prove he planned on returning. But I mean his sister married me, that's a valid reason to just wanting to vists and he has his business that he would...
My wife and I just had our “Initial Interview” on Thursday and now we are wondering what is next. It wasn’t what I expected and some things where weird because of the lady interviewing us. So where is what happened.
We come in, we sit down and she just was asking us for my wife to spell her...
So last week my brother in law tried to get a visa to come to the US for 3 week. My wife's family is from Romania and her mom; dad and brother live and work in Spain at her brother's restaurant. I never actually meet my wife’s family, we just got married a few months ago while she was here on a...
So my wife and I are going in for the initial interview on Thursday afternoon and I was sitting down this evening making sure we have everything to walk in with. But I noticed on the notice to appear it says:
Original and copy of each supporting document that you submitted with your...
My wife is from Romania and we are currently going through the green card process. Her brother wants to come and visit for a couple of weeks in February and does have an appointment for the US Embassy overseas but we think I may need to file some forms first. Do I need to send him an invitation...
Wow, that is pretty awsome then if it only is going to take us a few months for everything to be done with. We just filed 7 weeks ago. I know once she has her green card it will help with school tuition since she we won't have to be paying for her as an international student, which is more then...
Thanks for the reply. So actually too, I noticed in Part 3 it says 'If you are applying for an Advance Parole Document, skip to Part 7.", so do I need to skip everything between that go to part 7? I am assuming we want an AP?
