My friend just informed me that his parents' extn request is approved. Receipt Date was November 2, 2009 & Approval Notice Date was November 18, 2009 and received the envelope today. Very fast indeed.

It seems nobody had applied from Vermont service center in the recent past for an extn of visitor visa. What TC had mentioned is based on the website/

I have advised to visit CBP office based on the earlier postings in this forum that 2 different I 94 dates given to parents at POE on the same day of entry was corrected to 6 months at CBP office based on proper explanation.

Then they will need to travel back before the expiry of I 94 dates as suggested by you. Trial costs nothing.

I would suggest you to go immediately to your nearby CBP office ( deffered inspection department) and show both I 94 cards and explain the situation to an officer there. He may correct your moyher's I 94 card for 6 months. Good Luck

your parents need to bring your address/contact no to fill in I 94 form and medical insurance cover apart from their passports with valid visas.
