My RIR application was received by NY SESA on April 28, 2001. Still no sign of approval.... According to the lawer, 8 from 30 application which he sent in April have been not answered... what the hell is going on? Were they lost or stuck somewhere? I am freaking out here ....

Actually, it looks like they are accelerating. I think those are earlier cases which were not entered into the system. They take them from the box, enter data into the system them and them approve after a few days. Do you have an idea aprx. when this last case was received by state DOL...

JustWatching, I checked the database but my case is not there. Do you know when BEC is supposed to finish sending out 45-day letters for New York? My employer emailed BEC but they declined to say anything exept that they are in transitional state and ask to contact later.

JustWatching, Could you please help? Starting which date NY SWA forwarded cases to BEC? Was it October 1? Did NY Regional forward cases to BEC? My case was sent to NY SWA August 20, 2001. My employer called NY Regional DOL but they said they didn't have my case there and suggested it...

This is Labor Condition Applications Certifications filed with DOL. That is just for H1B visa not green card related Labor Certifications.

Does anyone know what is the receipt date for cases entered their system in July 2004? By receipt date I mean the date NY State received application from the employer? My application was sent at the end of August 2001, and still nothing heard... Any estimations on when it could be processed...

The message on the machine doesn't say when it was recorded. It could have been half a year ago. So, I would still trust the website more.

news US&Canada: GOD_BLESS_YOU has made it clear in the previous reply: "...Accordingly, parallel filing of PERM application and non-PERM application will be blocked by the DOL..." My understanding is, the DOL will not allow both RIR and PERM applications to be filed on the same position...

situation It is just like my case filed at the end of August. No news at all. My employer is preparing the written request/fax for NY SESA to see if it was cleared there and just stuck in Regional (lawer's recommendation). NY SESA doesn't respond over the phone.

question Application sent to NY State August 21, 2001. No answer neither from SESA nor from Regional. If it went to Regional without any problems, when would it be approved? What date is Regional approving cases now? Thanks

The same is with my company. I assumed they removed the old records, but if your company is a big one with many recent application filed then they system is broken. Perhaps, they are updating it by wiping out first :)

AVM is up now. It looks like they erased records about al least 2002 appovals.

My case was filed on August 21, 2001. AVM still doesn't mention that my case is in Regional.... althought, the state is listed to process September now. So, can we assume that all August cases are now in regional? Are lawyers always notified when the case moves from State to Regional? If not...
