AR-11 Attached AR-11 is the one to send the change of address. It shouldn't be a problem even if you send it now. Try to have a proof that you sent the change of address request. below the link for the same. http://www.immigration.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/ar-11.htm

Name misspelled in I485 Receipt and in EAD I had similar problem and called the NSC at that time. They asked me to send them a letter requesting for correction with the copy of the Birth Ceritificate for proof of name. I have sent the same and it has been corrected.
