How to file complaint when employer stops paychek and salary.

I am not sure but I believe there is a number at DOL you can call to complain about this; unfortunately this might jeopardize your case as well. Dont know the number, but I have seen it posted somewhere on this site

as mentioned, if I-140 gets approved before your current H-1b expires, then of course you can file I-485 as well as 3-year H-1b extension and get the gc eventually

seriously, is there absolutely no way out of this mess? I know many people have said lawsuits cannot be filed against govt agencies based on inefficiency, but in this country of lawsuits, I cant believe some lawyer has not come up with some loophole to get faster processing. Or what about all...

    BEC Priority Date Tracker

durres special, if you move immediately to a new employer and file perm and get it approved and also I-140 before Aug 2007, then even if your old employer revokes the old LC application, you will be safe. Because after I-140 approval you can file for 3-yr extension of H-1b visa. Only catch is...

I am in same situation with HR and boss, but they are NOT Indian. Lawyer is even worse, himself an immigrant from Lebanon, told me I should forget about getting a gc thru employment, that he married a USC and got divorced and recommended to me to do same. Now he is siding with HR to delay as...

if you get I-140 approved before your 6th year expires, you can get a 3 year H-1 extension based on I-140 approval. then 1 year is immaterial. so yes, approved 140 is sufficient irrespective of your labor filing date

    Philadelphia RIR Pending Cases only - 2002, 2003, 2004

this is not a good sign for me - that your husband with PD 1/03 is still in data review. my PD is 12/04 and my case was also closed and reopened in Nov 2006, and I am in data review. Can you pls notify when he changes to In Process, since I think they are processing by case last reopened...

one danger with this is that if perm is delayed and/or I-140 is rejected, no more H-1b extensions. I have heard recently many I-140s are being scrutinized more carefully and RFE's are being issued, so could delay the process for getting future H-1 extensions. Safest bet is to find a new...

Deadline is for conversion of TR to RIR for LCs. But it is over Jan 22, so after that you should push them for your I-140. My PD is 12/04. After I get my gc, or I leave for another company whichever comes first, I have sworn to report my crooked attorney to his state bar for lack of...

I am in PBEC, and in exactly the same situation: people after me are getting their cases approved. Mine was erroneously withdrawn and reinstated, once bec of 45-day letter. My PD is Dec 2004 and I am still in Data Review status online. So I agree with delicateone that 45-day letter rather than...
