Call FBI for finger printing status. It does not matter if you are in different location. I am located in Dallas and my application was filed in NSC. I got my approval in August 2004 after 2nd finger printing and RFE. Hope this helps.

How do I call CIS ? I called 800 375 5283 and it keeps on saying call during Mon - Fri 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. I called at 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, and 11:30, same message keep on repeating.. Is this a problem or I am not following the proper procedure.

I think it depends upon which address you have filled up in the EAD application. We have our lawyer's address. Initially the online status said ..this application has been approved on 6th of Jan and we have ordered a card for you. Then it changed to .... this appication has beed approved...

My wife's EAD was approved on 6th of Jan. INS mailed the card on 16th of Jan. My lawyer received on 22nd. Thanks. Udaya
