RFE Received by USCIS Hi Status message just changed to RFE received April 12th 2004. :)

RFE Received by USCIS Hi Status message changed today to "On April 12th we received...blah blah". :)

RFE Sent to USCIS today Left lawyer today, slight delay, as mine and spouses had to have an original EVL letter in it, employer had only sent one and a copy for my file. Will keep you posted.

Well... Yes we did - all documents will be at lawyer on Monday and off to the jolly old USCIS shortly. After that will be watching hawk eyed, just as we all are. I will glad to have this at a close, as we have been looking for the green card for over eight years now. I am just relieved...

Fairly standard message for RFE - mine was exactly the same . What they ask for varies - mine was as my signature below, but often people get asked for less (sometimes more). I would say its a very good sign that things are coming to an eventual close - great huh??:) good luck

Update Got a call from the senior partner in the law firm saying they are going to say nothing at all about anything, just give the USCIS what they want -- ie indicate current salary level within the EVL they draft, give them the W2s and copies of the passports--end of story. You guys...

Yeah You're probably right -- just making sure that we're alive and kicking (only just!!! :D )

Just checked with the lawyer... EVL is going to say "salary $60K plus commissions and bonuses" and that will be that she thinks!!!! ;)

Asked for W2s which state total compensation - nothing more. Plus an EVL The "problem" is as stated - total compensation salary plus commission plus bonus, is far higher than the LC. When the powers that be see that the EVL with the salary stated roughly matching the LC does not add up...

Good question.. not applicable in this instance (as the big Jaguars and Porsches in the bosses' parking spots will attest ;) ) --- but I wonder what would happen in that instance?? Maybe they wouldnt delve too deeply?

Got mine... Yesterday. 3/31/04 - they say give it 2 weeks, but I called the lawyer yesterday and she had it. Give them a call to see if they have it. I have seen posts where it took up to 2 weeks Good luck

Salary Salary on LC is $51K - salary now is $60
