PP upgrade may help those whose current h1 is expiring soon and need to file for an extension and an approved I-140 can be used for a 3-year extension instead of the regular one year.
True indeed!
I 've decided to go ahead and prepare for the One-year H1 extension. The I-140 approval/RFE comes when it comes. There's nothing one can do about it but wait!
Congratulations ww-gc.
Although my LUD changed for two consecutive days for the 2nd time, no approval yet. I am disillusioned for the 2nd time. It's really frustrating, especially because I have to file for my 9th year extension of H1 and it would be nice to file a 3 year extension instead of...
LUD Updated
LUD on my EB3 I-140 application has been updated today. I am curious to know if it will be approved today, will keep you posted. Has anybody else's LUD been updated today?
I am not saying there is "progress" in EB2 processing. Most of the miniscule number of cases approved recently have been EB2 cases. Whereas on the EB3 side, almost all the recent approved cases are those upgraded to premium processing. Although even EB2 approvals are coming at a snail's pace...
Yes, it looks like EB3 cases are thrown in some irrelevant rubble and there's a fee of $1000 for any particular case to be picked up from that rubble.
It is ridiculous that they are forcing people to file for premium processing and for the time being only concerned about EB2 cases.
It appears that even if a case gets browsed through in the system, the LUD gets updated which rules out the possibility that it has been taken up for final processing. The recent spike in instances of LUD changes suggests that all the hulla-gulla is probably about arranging and re-arranging...
I can only guess that when there's a change in LUD for two consecutive days, the case may have been taken up for processing, although I could be wrong. So, my guess is as good as any fair guess. God only knows what processing format NSC is following.
I think this means, there will be a decision on your case very soon (may be a week at the most). You may get the approval if they are satisfied with your RFE response.
The LUD on my case did not get updated today. So, lesson learnt is there's no point in doing any guesswork and it seems that no processing trend can indicate the methodology of NSC. It comes when it comes, and it's just a waiting game, so let's wait and see when it comes. I only hope that they...
Thanks for your reassuring response Punjabi007. Well, today is the last business day of the week and the business hours are almost over too. I am hoping that something comes out of the processing before noon on Monday. Let's see what happens. I shall keep you all posted.
The diff between your LUD change and mine is that my LUD has changed for two consecutive days with no result. Anyways, I think there's no other option for me but to wait with my fingers crossed and hope for the best. Thanks for your response.
