I also got the EAD at Boston office today, My story is: Applied EAD at Boston INS on Nov 18 and was told that I can't get it the same day but will receive a approval notice in 30 days ! I still not receive the notice by last Friday but my working visa (L1A) is expiring...

Thank you for the informationn. Actually I also applied for EAD on Nov 18th 2002 at the Boston INS office. and I was told that I can't get the card the same day but I will receive a notice in 30 days for coming in again to pick up the card. I did receive a mail from them but...
