stamp didn't expire. it is good untill next year. I have indian passport.

I am still on H1 and using it. I haven't used EAD. Somebody told me if I have a approval and a stamp which is valid more than a year, even if it is not of current company, then I don't need even AP. Dept of State also told the same. I don't know what to do.

Department of state says since your old stamp is valid for one more year, they won't give new stamp. Can't I show H1B approval notice and passport, paystubs. what do you think.
