It was a regular (i.e. non-RIR). So did the recruitment at State level and then got transferred to Atlanta DOL in Sep 2004. This was way before PBEC came into existence formally.
No problem in getting an extension.
The GC process should have been started atleast a year before the due expiry / renewal date.
This means that even if your 140 is approved and if you are still waiting for the visa number for AOS, you can still apply for extension. In this case you...
Your argument has two flaws -
1) They have a notation - "U" or unavailable - which is used when the quota for a year is over for a particular category / country. In fact EB3 category as a whole had no visa numbers available for the last couple of months.
So they dont have to invent a...
T-05 xxxxxxx number means that the case has been transferred to PBEC but has not been entered / fully entered into the system yet.
Not sure if they convert just the T into P once the data entry is completed and the 45 Day letter is issued. Cant see a reason why Data entry has been completed...
Hi Avala,
I got my P number in my 45 day letter so you dont have to reply to it to get that "permanent number".
In some of the other forums they are discussing that Philly is doing 2001 / 2002 RIR cases. Frankly havent seen too many TR approvals of late. The estimate is that by the year...
Ideally you should be working with the same company / sponsor till the Greencard is approved and even beyond. If you quit immediately after the Greencard is approved, then it may be viewed as a relationship of convenience and the Greencard may be revoked. Best to stay with the same employer for...

One of them is applying for 7th year extension and got the news from his lawyer that the case is in Philly.
