How relevant is PP stamping?
No Title When you get your approval, you need to go to the local INS office and give them your photos, finger-print and signature to make the plastic card. At this time you\'ll get a stamp on your passport which will be valid for 1 year.- dingbat

Some more confusion
I did my FP on Mar 1 and verified with the FBI that it had been returned to the INS the very same day. I just spoke with an IIO and she said something like "We received your FP on Mar 8, but are waiting for the investigative report". Anyone have any ideas what this means?- dingbat
