If you have a green card do you need a Canadian visa to visit there? if required can you get it at the immigrations at the border or will you have have to appear/mail your application to the Canadian counsulate? Any experiences?

INS received my RFE response too. get_card looks like our dates are going together. When was your RFE issued? Hoping for a quick approval!

On the RFE page right at the bottom where it indicates the address that the reply should be posted, there is a number. Something like 48R (I don't remember exactly). Anyways does this number need to be mentioned on the envelope of the RFE reply? I did not mention it. I mailed my RFE on 04/25/03...

I sent out my RFE details on 25th too(by Fedex next business day) and INS has still not acknowledged the receipt of the RFE(i.e. online message has not changed)

How long does it take for INS to update their system to RFE received from the time they receive the RFE documentation. Any experiences? Its been a few days since Fedex'ed the RFE docs and I don't see the online message indicating the receipt.

On an employment RFE requesting tax returns, should you include your state returns in addition to the federal return. Any inputs will be appreciated. Thanks.

I think you are given 3 months to respond to the RFE. I guess it should be mentioned on the RFE.

So it looks like, if you respond early to the RFE your case can get approved quicker, else the re-queue'ing can set the case back.
