It's the std number National Customer Service Center ,you can get it from USCIS site.

FYI: I did my stamping in San Jose on May 2nd week and didn't get the card for long time. Then after 2 months,I called the USCIS 800 number and waited for about 20mins and spoke to an officer. She understood the delay and got all my details ,then within a week I got an email notification...

yes,i did.. very recently i did the same thing...reentry to US from Canada with only stamping and there is no problem..(thought it works slightly different this way..the immigration is done in Canada itself) Also carry the 485 approval notice also...incase if they want to see it.

my stamping was in San Jose I am not sure anybody waits this long ....there is no update in the site!Hope they didn't mess :confused: up!

Folks, I stamped my GC on 05/13/04 @ San Jose and haven't got any mails/sign of INS processing my plastic card....Should I have to call them? My wife received the card last week and she did her stamping only 3 weeks back. any pointers ? Thanks.

i gave the address... hmm...the officer asked me to write the address in a form where I want the card to be mailed.

one more thing... don't do the smart thing of 'asking the security about whether you can stand in appointment line or not'...one guy with the same approval of 485 asked and security asked him to go & stand in the non-appointment line... I am sure it might have taken easily half a day or so...
