Nothing new, you check AVM the same way you checked your I-485 (using same EAC).
Both EAC & A number assigned to you will be printed on your Green Card.

The INS address is not actually printed on the envelope, it only appeared through the window.
I am not sure whether the FP mail had the address printed on the envelope.
I guess as the envelope did not specify any restrictions on forwarding I think USPS will forward it...

Medical :
As far as I know, Medical Examination records are valid for one year and it counts only when they are submitted to INS.
So it should not matter if it expires after INS receives them.

These are ADIT Style immigration photographs, yes same as the ones we submitted along with our I-485 (facing sidewards - little to our left) and NOT like Drivers license.
You can take pictures of you inside the Boston INS office for $$.

Reached INS office at 7:40 AM. Stood in the line and when I reached the counter only then came to know that I need to get I-89 form from another booth. Came out, got the form and stood in the line again. When I got the ticket the printed wait...

As far as the timeframe to receive the Interview letter, it may be anytime from 2 weeks to 6 months. Well this is from hear say. You can never predict the way INS work.

As far as I know one can use H1/ AP to travel till I-485 is pending. Once I-485 is approved, all valid non-immigrant visa would become void. If a person was already outside the US when the case was approved then they can enter the US with their H1/AP status and get their passport...
