RD 1/5 ND 1/18.
No EAD here either. Other SC\'s issuing EAD\'s within 3 to 5 weeks - NSC moving at it\'s typical constipated pace. Must be all that corn.
Not looking forward to lining up at local INS center next week.

FP notice received 2 weeks ago.
FP appointment week of March 27.
I believe these FP notices were sent out to some and not to others. A random phenomenon, probably cannot read too much into it - don\'t worry.

Vendor,
I\'m having my FP in Chicago next week (on South Pulaski).
Can you give me some tips/hints? i.e. what time should I get there? How long is the line up? Any other experiences with actual FPing, etc..
Appreciate any info you can give.
thanks.

FP\'s are valid for 15 months I think (not sure...somebody plesae verify?).
From what I\'ve seen on immitracker.com, NSC generally approves I-485\'s approx. within 6 months of FP.

I agree. Something must be brewing at NSC.
Logically, why would NSC issue FP notices so early if it didn\'t intend to approve 485\'s on a faster timeframe. It would create a lot of extra work for NSC to reissue FP notices a second time if expired -and as we all know INS does not...
I sent the employment letter along with the Yellow form.
Sometime down the road is it possible INS sends me an RFE to verify my employment a second time?
Thank You....
My friend (Chicago) got his FP notice last week. His RD: end of Jan 2001.
What\'s going on with NSC. They\'re giving out FP notices like there\'s no tomorrow!
Received fingerptint notice for me+wife today. Appt. date March 27th Chicago.
NSC RD Jan 5, ND Jan 18.
Got green form + yellow form. I won\'t be replying green form since I already sent in the medical stuff with application.
It\'s odd ... I thought it used to take 10 months to get FP...

Strange you haven\'t got receipt notice yet for EAD/AP.
You\'d better check to make sure it\'s not lost.
If you mailed your applications the last week of December you should have got receipt notices around January 12th. (I\'m basing this on my own experience - mailed 485/EAD/AP app...

The INS said that my first I-140 application was not valid because when they contacted DOL for my duplicate LC, DOL said that they have no record of my LC even being approved (there apparently was a notation in DOL\'s system of my LC approval but somehow they overlooked/missed...

my case is a bit complicated, but here goes:
PD: Oct, 1998
Chicago DOL approved my LC in Sept. 99 but "lost" my LC document.
Applied for I-140 Oct. 99 anyway (hoping INS would request duplicate LC from DOL).
INS tells my in June 2000 that my application is not...
