So there is no waiting period or conditional clause? What about questioning - that we waited for the i-485 to be approved before filing for divorce?

I have an L2 based GC (as of Jan 2008). If my husband and I are to go through a divorce, is my GC open to being revoked? Some additional background: I was in US on F1 for 3 years, H1 for 2 plus and then my husband moved here on an L1 (on H4 for few months). Any advise would be appreciated.

Helo, uscis website says a religious worker visa may be valid for 5 yrs, is that how long its approved for? Or a shorter tim eperiod but extendable for 5 yrs? Also, how easy is a religious worker visa to obtain? Thanks,

Finally :-) I got a notice as of Jan 8 that card production has been ordered, should recd in 30 days etc. My lawyer sent me an e-mail saying that although card production has been ordered, I still might be called for finger printing/photo for the card. Is this common?

How long are biometrics valid? Mine were done last Nov (2006), am I close to expiration? My lawyer advised that USCIS may request another biometrics before approving my case.....please advise. I agree, my lawyer is great :-)

Thanks, my birth place is also India. I had an RFE on birth certificate, and that may be the problem, as I was born at a then remote army base. Do they actually contact the home country certifying body?
