As u may have or may not seen in other forums - he is required to tell the truth as it can have dire consequences if and when they find out. It's likely he will get rejected based on the reasons u mentioned, but its a gamble - with these people - u just never know....use this...

I suggest u talk with the DSO at Colorado State - that is the person who issued or signed for you to get the I-20. They should definitely be able to help you. I think also - you could tell the first school of your intention to attend another school - see what they say.. Good Luck to U !:)
