I got that letter too. I just had my interview yesterday, and brought what they told me to bring. Everything went smooth. Do not fret. You will be fine.

My interview was also yesterday, and like you, I passed. They gave me just a plain white sheet which said, "Congratulations.......". She told me I would receive the official Notice of Oath ceremony paper in 60-90 days. You should get yours soon too.

She gave me a sheet which had a box checked, "Congratulations, you are recommend for Citizenship etc....". There was a box below that (not checked) that said "There cannot be a decision made on your application due to the following". Then it had reasons such as Name Check pending...

I would like to bring a few people. Are there restrictions to how many people you can bring?

Hey guys. My interview was yesterday and went as smooth as you all predicted. They were an hour late in calling my name, but who really cares. I had a young woman, (who was actually quite attractive) and withing 10 minutes, I was in and out. No "Name Check Pending", or anything else like...

I will post on Wednesday to inform you all of the outcome. I am quite nervous, but with God's help, and a nice USCIS official, I will be okay.

I moved with my siblings and mother. Neither of my parents are citizens. I don't ever recall them telling me I had to renew my green card.

I just realized this. I moved to the states when I was 6. I have my original Green Card. Do these expire? Was I supposed to get a new one when I turned 18? (I am 26 now) I have my citizenship interview on 1/10/06. Can someone inform me just how screwed I am?

My office is in Chicago. They received my app. on July 22nd. I have my interview on Tuesday, January 10th. So about 6 months so far, with hopefully less than 1 to go before I officially become a citizen.

I just checked my bank records. I mailed 2 seperate checks. There ya go!! Good luck with everything.

Actually my interview is not until Jan. 10th. I just wanted to know that if I get accepted next Tuesday, will I be done, sans the Oath? I just don't want to have to wait another 6 months.

Once the interview is done, and if they give me the acceptance letter that states I have been recommended, is that the last step before the oath? Has the background check, fingerprints check and such already been done before the interview?
