Anyone has heard of anybody using Memphis as POE? Some major airlines land there on the way in from Europe..

What does that mean? Is it because all emp based categories are current? Family based categories are still way backlogged.

Could the delay be due to priority dates? I heard some time back that priority dates will be backlogged again in Aug/Sept. Also, that NVC sends cases over to consulate only if it thinks that the case will get visa number (will have current priority date) over next 2 months. Can there be...

Infact opposite is true Times of India carried a report today that the US might resume full functioning of the US mission (including consulates) in India and reduce level of travel warning to India by the end of this month.

Heard from consulate - possible August interview. Apparantly Delhi has already started scheduling August.

Not a problem... you can change it anytime you want. Irrespective of name you enter in the forms, they will issue visa based on name in passport.

Anybody reviewed since 5/27 got forwarded? Anybody reviewed by NVC since 5/27 got forwarded to the consulate yet? All those cases should have been forwarded today.
