INS has officially declared that they are processing cases until Oct 1st,2000 . I see many approvals on this site who\'s RD is Sept 2000 & ND is Oct 2000. So I guess Oct 1st 2000 is the RD and not ND.Am I right?

Joe is right...only a US citizen can sponsor GC for their parents, not GC holders. if that\'s what you meant by \'permanently\'

Spoke to an IIO today. She said that the Plastic card will be mailed to my home address. She also verified my home address for me & said that they have already received my I-89 form. This puts an end to all the speculation. Passport stamped on 13th Dec 2001. Thanks a lot guys.
