no case xfer hi, no didn't had to get my case xfer.... but depends on at what stage ur case is... mine was already past their JIT date.... so they had to process at CSC... in any case, i think you should just let 'em know about the new address and, if they require, will xfer the case... else...

have you checked your case status? has CIS received your FP results? if so, then you don't have to worry about the second FP notice... else you can go again and get 'em redone.... just in case! i kind of had a similar situation... i received a FP notice at my previous employers address, which...

coincidence? mine took 992 days from RD (9/5/2001) to AD (5/24/2004)! :)

stamping completed went to san antonio CIS office for pp stamping on 6/10/2004. Didn't made any appointment, its not required. Reached there @ 8:00 AM and was out by 9:00 AM... had to re-take photos there... its good they have a private person in the office for taking photos... costs $11 for...

mine also had ammended I-140 (after filing I-485) because the company got bought by another.... didn't take that long, in fact it was in couple of months you get ammended I-140.... its always a good idea to keep records straight with CIS, you never know what they are thinking! :rolleyes:

CIS send you one courtesy copy and the original (which you take for PP stamping) to lawyer... at least that's what they did for mine.... might want to start soothing ur relations with the lawyer! :)

got it done @ san antonio without any problems... and yes it was before the scheduled date.. in fact, mine was scheduled for Oakland, CA.. but i moved to Texas.. and got it done in San Antonio...

wac-01-275-xxxxx approved 5/28/2004 after a long long with and repsonding to 2 RFEs with 3EADs and 2 APs finally got the approval! :)

i think you need to talk to your lawyer on how to handle this situation.... he/she should be able to give you a right advice.... from my understanding, as long as you can make CIS understand your situation (either through a seperate letter from your future employer or from your lawyer) you...

SM, yes... EAD RFE's are a bit different... i also received EAD RFE at home....

SM, my RFE was also dated 8/19 and reached my lawyer on 8/25 in Atlanta, GA... i guess its just the mail thing which takes some time...
