To my knowledge priority date is portable if your I-140 is approved. So in your case you can use the old priority date even though you are starting your GC process afresh.
I am kind of curious as to why there is such a signficant difference in priority dates for EB2 for India and China. China's priority date is march of 05 while India's is unavailable and before becoming unavailable it was Jan of 03.
